I heard a while back they fired a guy in Ma for smoking while he wasn’t on the job. Other than that how are they to work for?

Biological:

* diseases from ticks such as Lyme Disease;

Chemical:

I did use them for a while but wasn’t happy with the service. They charged me $ 35.00 per month just for lawn treatment and fertilization on a relatively small lawn. I live in FL.

Due their credit I have seen some great lawns that they maintain but they didn’t work for me. I think it depends a lot on the technician that services your lawn.

I was wondering if anyone works for or knows the average starting salary for a Scotts Lawn Care technician in Lakeland Florida or the Tampa area, any help please, thanks.

If you don’t get an answer, it might be worth a shot to just call their HR department/rep and ask them. You can tell them that you’re interested in the position, etc. They should be able to provide an average. Good luck.

All of the lawn and garden forums talk about dropping soil additives/seed at a rate described as something like "6-8 lbs per 1000 square feet". This doesn’t mean anything to me. I have a Scotts rotary spreader that has numbers on it for a broadcast rate. How does this translate?

Did you know Ortho, Miracle Gro, Osmocote, and Round Up(marketing/distribution rights) are all Scotts brands. Is it fair to have the best product in every lawn and garden category?
